We are thrilled and excited beyond repair, and bowing to numerous requests compelling us to squeeze in this extra concert, are delighted to welcome back the sensational OUJO (Oxford University Jazz Orchestra), who blew us away with their amazing concert with the Durham University Big Band in February of this year. Both bands were outstanding, but it was hard not to be partisan, faced with the glorious big band sound of OUJO’s precision, slick presentation, coupled with mind blowing individual solos, the whole definitely up there in standard with Basie, Ellington, and featuring those two masters’ great numbers. ABSOLUTELY essential to make an early booking for this one.
