St Giles Church Oxford
Pete Oxley / Tim Whitehead

The concert on 5 December will be preceded by a short peal on St Giles' bells by an international group of ringers. The ringing is to celebrate the "Church bells for peace" movement established by the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

Oxley-Whitehead

Led by two contemporary jazz masters, Pete Oxley and Tim Whitehead’s quartet includes virtuoso bassist Yaron Stavi (Gilad Atzmon, Nigel Kennedy etc.) and JASG fave drummer, Paul Cavacuiti.

Expect vibrant, feisty fare from this fab four!

“Those of us who have caught [Tim] live have been left blinking in disbelief: it’s not just his mastery of the tenor saxophone, phenomenal though it is, but the absolute conviction of his playing that is so impressive.” Observer

Tickets: £15, (£13 concs. £5 students)
