It's time to welcome Oxford's best young jazz musicians, comprising students from all around the city. The evening will be led by multi-instrumentalist, first year Oxford University Music student, and RAM Junior Academy Jazz course member Eva Fidler.

The Band

Noah Stone

Oxfordshire based drummer, composer and band leader Noah Stone, won scholarships to both the Royal Academy of Music and The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the tutelage of Gareth Lockrane, Jeff Williams, Clark Tracey and Mike Williams among others. He has played at many highly regarded jazz venues across the U.K., such as Ronnie Scott’s and Pizza Express and has also performed at Cheltenham, Trondheim and Siena Jazz festivals. Noah has been part of various jazz orchestras and large ensembles, has undertaken session work for the BBC and played for many theatre productions. Noah has had the fortunate pleasure to play alongside some of the best National and International jazz musicians. Noah was the recipient of the 2018 Tony Levin Drum Prize. Currently a member of various bands whilst working on his own projects, Noah is also a passionate educator.

Electrifying Performances: They will be bringing us electrifying performances where each note re-tells a much loved story with contemporary flair.

A New Generation: We are celebrating a brand-new generation of stunning talent, where tradition meets innovation and a relaxed mood from some of the most promising and exciting young jazz players on the Oxford jazz scene.
